Went to the talk given by Katsuhiko Tokunaga tonight at the ITE in Singapore. I still have a mint copy of "Super Blue" which I purchased in the '80s as it first saw the light of day- it gave me a whole new look into what a camera could do around airplanes. It remains a work of art. Even more amazing, all of it was shot on film. Katsu-san kindly signed it.
He is accompanying the Breitling Jet Aerobatic Team into Singapore- they will be displaying at Sentosa this Saturday:
Date: Saturday 9th March 2013
Time: 1400h
Place: Siloso Beach, Singapore

I suppose the Sentosa show will serve as my warm-up for LIMA 2013. Hope the weather isn't gnarly!
After that, the Breitling team will depart for Malaysia.
It seems they plan to fly to Kuantan AB for a photoshoot with our own Smokey Bandits. As they will be carrying external fuel tanks, there will be a very limited flypast of the base on arrival, scheduled at 1100am Monday 11th- but that may change, too.
There will be a display in KL - which, like the Halim display at Jakarta, will be very low-key ie unadvertised.
The Breitling team will not be making LIMA- so what a pity.
